PGHDance.com is a
friendly place for sharing information about swing
dancing in Pittsburgh. Our goal is for everyone who
comes here to feel welcome and to feel free to share
their love of dancing.
General Forum Guidelines
Post in the spirit of the site's mission statement.
We encourage a positive and constructive atmosphere.
Be respectful of others.
Lively, intelligent discussion is encouraged. Making
personal attacks on other members is prohibited.
You are responsible for your words.
All posts made to these forums express the views and
opinions of the author of the post, and not the
administrative staff (except for posts by the
administrative staff).
No spam.
Don’t use these boards to advertise your site or
product, or to lift email addresses to spam our members. You may publicize certain items that would be of
interest to our members (ie. exchanges, workshops, other
dance related sites, dance supplies, etc.) but please
post those items in the proper forums under descriptive
headings.
Don't post offensive content.
This board is aimed at a general adult audience. Posting
of abusive, obscene, vulgar, libelous, hateful, or
threatening content will not be tolerated.
One person, one account.
We do not allow the use of sock puppets (multiple
usernames).
All the rules also apply to PMs.
These rules are also applicable to private messaging
when appropriate. Abuse of the private messaging system
will not be tolerated.
Keeping the Forum Organized
Make posts in the appropriate location.
Members should make posts in the appropriate section of
the forum. Please read the description prior to posting.
Stay on topic.
Respect the topic at hand and make every attempt to
continue an appropriate flow of thoughts. Unnecessary
hijacking is rude to your fellow members.
Search for an existing thread before creating a
new one.
Prior to starting a new thread, members should ensure
that a previous one hasn’t already been started. New
threads should be titled with appropriate descriptive
titles.
Problem Situations
Contact a moderator if you have a problem.
If an issue arises, the appropriate action is to notify
a member of the administrative staff.
Banned users are banned.
Users who violate forum policy may be banned at the
discretion of the administrative staff. Banned users are
not permitted to post on this forum, either through
personal accounts or through other users.
Moderators make the final decision.
The moderators of this site reserve the right to edit,
move, or delete any post or close a discussion at any
time. The determination of inappropriateness is left up
to the moderators and not the users. Your IP address and
other information are logged for the use of the
administrative staff.
Privacy Policy
Your private data will not be shared with a third
party.
As a user you agree that any information you have
entered will be stored in a database. We will not
disclose any of this information to a third party
without your consent. However, the administrative staff
cannot be held responsible if the data is compromised.

confirming your registration details and for sending new
