Blues Workshop Weekend with Solomon Douglas Feb. 11-12

Postby Regular Joe » Wed Dec 14, 2005 10:53 am

Lisa just got the confirmaton on Fri. So there will be a workshop weekend in the Burgh in Blues on Feb. 11-12 by Solomon Douglas. Details are still being worked out (Lisa just got confirmation). There could be things also happening Fri. night but, still working on that. Should have details and a flyer by week after Christmas. CCT mailing then.

If you are in need of advanced notice hold March 10-12 open. Bal weekend pretty much almost confirmed but, not yet. Again when we know, you will know.

Please help spread the word. thanks.

Yep. also it too bad Zoe and Becca will probably have to miss the Edgewood Club Dance with Solomon. Since they have not been down to a regular Edgewood Dance even with BMJB. They have such busy schedules. They will just miss another fun dance.

Let's not count them out just yet. Busy girls... indeed! But they know how to have a good time, so hopefully with a lot of pleading and convincing (that you really don't need that stuff they call an "education"), maybe they will come play with us!!!

I'd love to host you but I don't really have a house in Pittsburgh so I suck. We could all stay at M's but that's still 45-60 mins. away. :(

Of course since we don't have a registration process in place yet, that is easier said than done. ;-)

Seriously, we don't expect any trouble with housing.... Here is my official plea to the locals to let Amanda (dadancingpsych) know if you have room to offer in your house.

We will get a registration form onto the website soon plus flyers with registration forms attached out asap. If you are from a non-Pgh location and can put some flyers out in your community let me know.

Hey hey hey! We're going to try to be better this semester, I swear. Also, this weekend is definitely on our "must do" list, so we'll be there.

ooOOOoooh *bit of excitement--okay, a lot*. Methinks I'm up for this :D I need to do a financial check *mutters something about being a college student*, and housing would be nice. If it get's cramped, I can always drive back to GC, but it would be much easier (and probably cost efficient) to stay there... providing no one minds me sneaking of in a corner when there isn't any dancing to work on homework
