Reminder, the dance is this Friday Oct. 17. ( Ralf looks like the heat will not be a problem this time but, they now know where the AC is.)

Those of you who have friends who wanted to learn Lindy, get them out to the beginner lesson at 8 with Zach & Lisa. Also Tues. Davis said he was in town and would be coming to the dance. Followers, you are so notified. :)

OH MATT, are you going to bring Amanda out?

Almost forgot, rumor has it there will be a steal jam during the dance  . So all of you who took the workshop should come out and practice what you learned.

IMPORTANT: Please note the Friday November 7 lindy hop dance is canceled. There was an unfortunate scheduling conflict with the dance hall. Please also help spread the word.

You might want to check out the Boilermakers at Cefalo's that night. See: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=34&start=720

The Lindy Hop Dance will be back at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts on the first Friday in December. The third Friday of November is PittStop and you KNOW where we will all be! 8)

Sorry about the conflict- but happy to know this eliminates a conflict with our first show at Cefalo's!! We are hoping that this will turn into a monthly event- basically a random Friday whenever we are free- and we have booked a second show on Dec. 12th.

Hope to see you all Friday, Nov. 7- show starts at 8:30pm!

(Is there a reason this isn't on the opening calendar? Rhetorical)

Because it's on my to do list and with all the other thing's on the list, I have not gotten to it yet? Thanks for the reminder. Will put it on tonight after the Lindy practice. Unless Amanda you or soemone else wants one of my jobs. :)

PS This means you now have to show up for the dance on Fri. :D

Just an added reason for the followers to show up. John Fulmer will be teaching with Lisa on Fri. So ladies here a chance to dance with John who has not been able to be around lately at the dances. That is if you can get him between all the dances Lisa T. try's to make up for missing over the past couple of month's.

Also all those friends who said they wanted to try Lindy. Get them out by saying it was their New Year's resolution.

So Amanda, now that's John, Mark, and I are there to dance with, what more reason do you need to come Fri. :)

Yay! I like John! (And Mark and Joe, too!) I'm actually at a convention at the airport this weekend. Not sure how much I'll be able to escape.

Still don't know, although I was hoping to make it. I wonder if I'll be locked into 305 with all the rockstar dancers again...

But I suppose I should be thinking about tomorrow's dance first. =)

*If* Amanda shows up tomorrow evening, people will be there to keep her warm... yes?!? Anyone?!?

(I will be dancing at 7am Saturday morning... and this is not a *still* dancing situation... I start dancing then.)
