Jimmy Adler Blues Band (read the
forum thread)
The Jimmy Adler Band plays a combination of Chicago Blues and West Coast Jazzy Jump. The music features the elegant phrasing and clean fat tones of Jimmy’s guitar as well as the distinct honking saxophone of Eric Spaulding. In addition, the band includes a tight swinging rhythm section and the classic sound of barrelhouse piano. Jimmy has lent his talents to a variety of Western Pennsylvania’s most prominent blues bands; however, it is as a leader of his own band where he really displays the full breadth of his experience and musical ability. Jimmy’s passionate vocals compliment the band’s spirited playing as they continue to perform at a multitude of venues and festivals throughout Western PA. The passion and spontaneity of the band’s performances as well as their originality and commitment to the old-school sounds brings a fresh flavor to any venue they play and they are a favorite among the swing dance crowd.
